Making a Successful "TREELINE" Tutorial

In order to create a treeline, you need to use a Patch Mesh. The following shows one way to
do this:

Set your GRID to 64

Now create a brush using one of the treeline textures. I have found that doing it this way makes
it easier to resize the brush, because I can resize the brush to the exact image size.

Now you see the texture on the brush just the way it will appear.

So now we have to create a Simple Patch Mesh, so select Patch->Simple Patch Mesh...

In the example, the brush is 5 lines wide and 5 lines high, so those are the values we
will set for Width and Height. Then click Ok.

After you click Ok, the image will appear upside down, so ...

... use the Surface Inspector (press 'S') to rotate the texture.

You click the Rotate up and down button to rotate the image so
it will be upright.

After the rotation, hit escape to close the Surface Inspector, and now you can copy and paste the
patch mesh where ever you want the treeline to be.
